CALENDAR OF EVENTS YEAR 2011

Van Wyck Homestead Museum Our Fishkill Historical Society's headquarters is the historic Van Wyck Homestead Museum located at the junction of Route 9 and I-84 exit 13 in Fishkill, New York.  (GPS Address is 504 Route 9, Fishkill, NY).

Ongoing Events

• Revolutionary War reading group – for fun and discovery – monthly meetings.

• Spinning & Weaving – 1st Sunday of each month.   Contact Anne Nagy  (845) 227-3494.
   
• Weekend Tours – Van Wyck Homestead Museum 1 - 4 PM.   (June 4th thru October 30th).

Annual Holiday Open House Party  –  Wednesday, December 28^th  6:30 PM

The Fishkill Historical Society invites all to join in the merriment at our Holiday Open House on Wednesday evening, December 28^th, starting at 6:30 PM.   There will be a reading of Major Henry Livingston's, classic poem " ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas”.  We’ll also have a FHS Member tell the story of the “History of Hanukkah”.   There will be crafts and games for children too! 

Please plan to come to our festively decorated Van Wyck Homestead Museum for music, complementary refreshments - cookies, coffee and cider in front of the kitchen fireplace.
